This edition of Mike's Poetry Corner features a short poem I wrote nearly two decades ago while serving an LDS mission in Phoenix, Arizona.
"Face the world," He said. I said, "No, I'll die." Says He, "You're never dead, Unless you never try."
So I did, and I died. Now I'm dead, 'cause I tried.
But I remember what He said and He is not a liar. So though my body may be dead, my spirit's lifted higher.

Mike's Poetry Corner has been brought to by the letters M and S and the number 36.
